Kingdom Legacy

Legacy implies an inheritance. Most often it is a gift of great value passed on from one generation to another. Such is our relationship with God through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. As Christ followers we are caretakers, stewards if you will, of Christ’s invitation to learn of him and follow him. This lifelong journey requires us have the desire to learn more and practice more of what we have learned.

Leaving a Kingdom Legacy looks at our inheritance through the tagline, “What do these stones mean?” – Joshua 4:6. We explore the advice given a current generation. They are to setup (stones) tangible reminders for the future generations so that they too will have evidence of God’s active presence in their daily life. Along with Joshua 4:6, Jesus missional statement in Luke 4:18-19 along with the mission statement of the African Methodist Episcopal Church are essential to understanding how our purpose collides with our destiny.
